Through history humanity has attempted to control the future, but this century is increasingly showing the futility of our efforts, as our future seems pessimistic and uncertain. This uncertainty can make many anxious. But God knows the future and it is fully in his control. In "Facing the Future" John Starr answers the most important questions about our future from biblical perspective. He shows how the two most decisive events in future will be the Second Coming of Christ and the Final Judgment. Giving attention to the future God has planned, and the circumstances preceding it, will bring into sharp focus just how much people need to be saved. "Facing the Future" will help you to live in the joyful expectation of the second coming of Christ as King and focus on your most vital tasks as his disciple.
