The life-affirming story of Libby Clegg MBE and her guide dog Hatti.

About the author

Libby Clegg MBE took up athletics at the age of ten. Despite first competing as a middle distance and cross country runner she eventually discovered that sprinting made better use of her talents. In 2006, aged just sixteen, Libby won a silver medal in the T12 200m at the World Championships is Assen. Just two years later she made her Paralympic debut in Beijing winning yet another silver medal, this time in the T12 100m. Libby finally struck gold at Rio in 2016 - twice, in fact - winning both the T11 100m and T11 200m finals. She has recently been picked for Team GB at the Tokyo Paralympics where she will defend her titles.

Libby trains in Loughborough, Leicestershire, where she also lives with her partner, Dan Powell, and their son, Edward.
