In the far distant future, after segregating into groups decided by race, religion, color, creed or nationality, mankind has dispersed throughout the spiral arms of the galaxy. The only remaining human's left on Earth are the aboriginal peoples of Australia, some of the American Indian tribes, the Zulus of Africa, and the Creators. The Earth, now more aptly called Oceanus, has become a virtual paradise except for one major problem. The seemingly immortal Creators are slowly dying! After discovering a serious defect in their genetic makeup that is reducing their incredibly long lifespans, they deduce that their only hope may be resolved by the reintroduction of a pure source of DNA. A pure source must be located if the Creators are to survive to continue caring for their world! Utilizing technologies from both the past and present, emissaries, Kyinda are sent to the few known worlds to construct portals to allow the Locators to follow. Joined by his beautiful companion Amaranth and their thee androids, Sod, Gom and Char, Kaalen is sent on his mission to the Anglo-scots world of Calendon. Helped along the way by new friends, strange aliens, and pitted against new and old enemies, he must find the perfect match amongst the lost colonies of old Earth!
