About the author










For thirteen years, Lois Edmund was a professor of conflict resolution in the bachelor of arts program offered jointly by University of Winnipeg and Canadian Mennonite University. She currently holds the rank of emeritus professor at Canadian Mennonite University. She is also an adjunct professor in the doctoral program of the Arthur V. Mauro Centre for Peace and Justice, St. Paul's College, University of Manitoba. Her training is in psychology and clinical psychology, and she holds a BS in psychology (Honours), an MA in counselling psychology, and a PhD in clinical psychology. As a psychologist, she has practiced since 1979. In addition, she has practiced alternative dispute resolution as a mediator of family disputes, interpersonal abuse and harassment allegations, and large group conflicts.
