A funny, relatable and visually striking story about toddler rage and how to navigate it, from the successful duo of Timothy Knapman and Joe Berger.

About the author

Timothy Knapman is the author of over 60 children’s books, including Superhero Dad, Mum and Gran (all illustrated by the wonderful Joe Berger), Harry in a Hurry, Little Ogre’s Surprise Supper, Mungo and the Picture Book Pirates, Dinosaurs in the Supermarket, Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Bogey, Dinosaurs Don’t Have Bedtimes and Follow The Track All The Way Back. He also writes the words for musicals, including Imaginary, Danni Hero and Growl!. He tries very hard not to be furious, but unkindness and selfishness, and missing out on adventures, can make him pretty cross.

Joe Berger is a children’s author, illustrator and cartoonist who also makes the occasional award-winning animated short film. He is the illustrator of Hubble Bubble, Granny Trouble and the Superhero series with Timothy Knapman and is co-creator of the Berger & Wyse food cartoon in the Guardian magazine. Joe has illustrated numerous books, inside and out, for children and grown-ups. He lives in Bristol with his wife, three daughters, two cats and a small dog.

Summary

Sometimes I Am Furious is a hilarious and reassuring story about how tough it can be being and having a toddler, from bestselling duo Timothy Knapman and Joe Berger.

Life is all fun and games when everything's going your way. But some days, suddenly, something becomes horribly UNFAIR. A melting ice cream, a too-tight t-shirt, a boy who doesn't share... it's enough to make you FURIOUS. But, as this little girl discovers, it's nothing that a deep breath, a happy song and a good cuddle can't sort out.

A funny, friendly and relatable book for young children (and their parents) about emotions and how to handle them.
