About the author

Dr. Kirshnan Suresh is the Philip and Jean Myers Professor of Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he is also Director of the Engineering Representations and Simulation Lab. In 2018 he was honored as the recipient of the James G. Woodburn Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and in 2017 he was elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
