English phrasal verbs have varied in productivity over the centuries, but the number and usage of phrasal verbs have been increasing since the nineteenth century and especially during the last fifty years. This development has been most prominent in American English. This study was an attempt to investigate the comparative impact of Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) and operative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) on EFL learners' phrasal verb learning at intermediate level.
