The study was conducted during the period of June 2015 to May 2016 in the Udhangamandal urban areas of The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. Artificial nests were placed three different habitats namely Market area, Residential area, and Institutional areas. In each study site 50 next boxes were erected which includes Wooden boxes (n=10), Paper boxes (n=10), Bamboo piece (n=10), PVC pipes (n=10) and Mud pots (n=10). Among the three different habitats, the nest box attempted result shows that Market area graphs a number of attempted nest boxes (n=39). Correspondingly different types of nest boxes mud pot (n=23) were highly utilized by house sparrows. The nest boxes' productivity was highly observed in the market area (n=26). Similarly, different types of nest boxes mud pot (n=16) grasp a high number of productivity. A total of 48 productive nests successfully produced 67 chicks fledge out from the nest boxes on the other hand 39 chicks were fell down from the nest and died. Among the productive nests market area holds 37 fledge out chicks from the 26 nests. Similarly different types of nest boxes mud pot contain 31 fledge out chicks from the 16 nests.
