About the author

Stephanie Stansbie has been a children’s books editor since the 90s and an author since the noughties. She adores editing and writing in equal measure and has always worked on illustrated books, where the art is as important as the word. The books she has written have been translated into over 15 different languages. Stephanie lives in Oxford and enjoys yomping about with her family and friends, and playing capoeira.
Elisa Paganelli was born in Italy and since childhood has been unable to resist the smell of paper and pencils. Today Elisa lives and works in High Wycombe, collaborating with publishers all over the world. She is often immersed in her quiet world of nature and books, accompanied by a cup of tea and her beloved pets - three old dogs and two cats.
