Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) play a pivotal role in rural economic growth and developmental resources, must have consideration for conservation and sustainable resource management. Although world forest management remains focused on timber, most of the cases in the world concern rural poverty, deforestation, and sustainable development emerges. So that, NTFPs constitute a security net for forest-adjacent people who have collected NTFPs for many years, depending upon them for subsistence and commercial purposes, directly benefitted by cash income. The Sundarbans Reserved Forest and its surrounding buffer zone are among the foremost diverse and amplest natural resources areas within the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It holds one of the essential continuous mangrove forests within the planet and has been recognized as a world important World Heritage and Ramsar site.
