About the author

Kate Zarrella is the Creative Director at Calling Card Books and Z Girls Press, and the designer of Color The Bard: A Coloring Book Featuring The Sonnets, Sound, and Fury of William Shakespeare. Watching good friends perform in King Lear in a Southern California high school theater production introduced Kate to Shakespeare. In college Kate signed up for a Shakespeare seminar where she learned the culture and history of the Bard's high art and low humor. While studying in London later in her college career, she was able to visit important locations like The Globe Theater.
