Rwanda is a country with a thousand-year-old history. According to corroborating sources, the royal chronology dates back to medieval times. In this small country in the Great Lakes region of Africa, history has shaped the minds and mores of the people following an ethic and cultural values that strangely contributed to cementing an education that intersects with the elements of social unity and cohesion. In the following lines, the author shows us a unique and specific way in which the political, religious and social spheres have strangely interpenetrated to anchor and consolidate the personality, morals, identity and character of the youngest. On the basis of sustained documentation of a comparative nature, the text goes back up the current of local history to characterise the transmission of know-how, but also the knowledge of Rwandan people from early childhood to adulthood.
