About the Book Access to educational opportunity is a prerequisite for social and economic transformation in contemporary society. This work assesses the utilization of textbooks at primary school level as an avenue for knowledge and skill acquisition for development. About the author










Dr. S. M. Mbugua-Macharia holds a Ph D in Educational Research and Evaluation from Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She has a wide experience in teaching and conducting social science research in East Africa. She is an adjunct lecturer at Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a consultant in programme evaluation.
