About the author

Alfonso Lourido is a Visual Artist working and living in Uruguay. He has held past positions as Art Director and Creative Director in Advertising at McCann and TBWA. Currently he is authoring and illustrating children's books and owns Carajito Films, a production company specializing in television commercials and film projects. He has received accolades for his illustrative children's works. His work was selected to integrate the Illustrators Wall at the Children's Book Fair: Bologna 2019 and he was invited to participate in the Kaunas Biennial of Illustration in Lithuania. When he is not creating, he enjoys surfing with his daughter and having long seaside strolls with his wife. He strongly believes love, art, and ice cream are the answer!
