About the author

Dr. Nora Bird is currently an Associate Professor, she has been with the UNCG Library and Information Science faculty since 2007 and also serves as the Director of Graduate Programs. Her teaching and research interests include: community college libraries, collections management, information-seeking behavior, workplace information literacy, and communicating controversial science. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Community and Junior College Libraries. She received her BA in Biology graduating cum laude at Boston University, her MS in Library and Information Science at Simmons College, and her PhD from Rutgers University School of ComEmerging Human Resource Trends in Academic Libraries presents the collective wisdom of human resource librarians and administrators who have been in the forefront of practicing and applying the human resource principles in academic libraries.
