Me llamo Carlos A. Garibaldi y soy un amateur de la historia. Persona "de números" formado en la ingeniería y las finanzas, necesitaba balancearme con humanidades. Me urgió entonces aprender a apreciar mejor el arte para "quitar del alma el polvo de la vida cotidiana", como dijera Picasso.
Argentino residente hace más de tres décadas en los Estados Unidos, estoy casado con Cecilia, con quien formamos cinco hijos que a la fecha nos han regalado doce nietos (más uno en camino). Escribí este libro principalmente para ayudarme a aprender, y para compartir esta pasión con ellos.
My name is Carlos A. Garibaldi and I am a history amateur. A "numbers person" formed in engineering and finance, I needed to balance myself with humanities. Thus, I felt the urge to learn and better appreciate art to "wash away from the soul the dust of daily life", as Picasso said.
I was born in Argentina and have been living in the U.S. for over three decades. I am married to Cecilia, with whom we raised five children that have gifted us twelve grandkids (plus one on the way). I wrote this book mainly to help my learning and to share this passion with them.
