The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of interferential therapy and ultrasound therapy on knee pain and range of motion in patients with knee OA.Patients were randomly divided into two groups. Group A received interferential therapy whereas Group B received ultrasound therapy. Outcome measures was taken using WOMAC scale, range of motion,time to walk a distance of 15 m. Results from between the group comparison showed that ultrasound is more effective in reducing pain and time to walk 15 meters distance as compared to IFT.Ultrasound and interferential therapy are equally effective but clinically ultrasound therapy is more effective than interferential therapy.
