Additional text
'Both Professor Christina Richards, an Applied Psychologist and Dr James Barrett, a Consultant Psychiatrist have written a comprehensive guide for other health care professionals working with trans and non binary people. This book covers a wide range of topics that is educational but also accessible. Both clinicians are widely respected in the health care for trans and non binary people and have extensive experience in this field. They have written a book that is hugely helpful for a better understanding and learning about trans and non binary people. It is an engaging book and provides you with valuable information that will help you to see the complicated political, social, cultural and health barriers that many trans and non binary people experience when trying to get adequate care. An excellent book, long overdue.' Dr Kamilla Kamaruddin, GP in East London, RCGP Inspire Award 2019
