Description
This book explores various intelligent algorithms including evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence-based algorithms for analysis and control of dynamical systems. Both single-input-single-output (SISO) and multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) systems are explored for analysis and control purposes. The applications of intelligent algorithm vary from approximation to optimal control design. The applications of intelligent algorithms not only improve understanding of a dynamical system but also enhance the control efficacy. About the author
Dr. V. P. Singh: Dr. V. P. Singh graduated from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2007 with B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering. He received M.Tech. degree in Control and Instrumentation and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2009 and 2013, respectively, from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor at MalaviyaNational Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. Prior to joining Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India, he was Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology Raipur, India. His research interests include system modeling, model order reduction and applications of optimization.
Dr. Akhilesh Mathur: Dr. Akhilesh Mathur received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rajasthan University, Rajasthan, India, in 2007 and the M.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2010 with majors in power system. He received his Ph.D. degree at IIT Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in the stream of Electrical Engineering in 2018. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at MNIT Jaipur, Jaipur, India. His research interests include energy planning of smart grid, load flow and short-circuit analysis of unbalanced distribution systems with inverter-based distributed generation, optimal operation of distributed generations and planning of microgrids.
