The book contains information about Garifuna migration in relation to the Honduran Migrant Caravan,2018. Although the Garifuna have always had a strong tendency to emigrate, this was not reflected in the so-called Honduran Migrant Caravan that went en masse to the United States in October 2018. This absence has not gone unnoticed in the contextual analysis of the caravan. There are even those who dare to use - the absence - against the Garifuna population, accusing them of being comfortable and lazy. What we will try here is to explain, in the light of some theories and the knowledge acquired from the participant observation, the reason or reasons why there was no influx of Garifunas in the migrant caravan. In this sense, we will enter into the historiography of Garifuna international mobility, emphasize the way their networks operate, learn about the vast capital acquired during years of migratory experience, know how they are organized and the reality in which they live. This examination is very important not only to get an idea of how they have moved internationally, but also to understand the reality they face in Honduras.
