Informationen zum Autor Lucille Recht Penner was born in New York City and is an alumna of Barnard College. She has written more than twenty books for children on subjects ranging from dinosaurs to Native American food. One of her books for children was designated as an Ambassador Book by the English Speaking Union and two were selected as Honor Books by the Boston Globe/Horn Book Awards. Two more books were selections of the Children’s Book-of-the-Month Club. Lucille lives in Tucson, Arizona. Lynn Adams was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design. Her illustrations may be seen in Big Hand, Little Hand (Barron’s) and How Many Feet? How Many Tails? (Scholastic), as well as books from The Kane Press. In addition, her work has been published in Sesame Street Magazine and she has been designated Illustrator of the Month several times by Highlights for Children.
