A study was undertaken on the quality of life between diabetic and non-diabetic lower limb amputee patients. Forty patients were selected for this study. Amongst them twenty were diabetic and the rest of them belonged to non-diabetic lower limb amputees. The main objective of this study is to assess and compare the quality of life between diabetic and non-diabetic lower limb amputee patients. The tools used for this study to assess the quality of life of lower limb amputee patients in four domains (physical, psychological, social relationship and environmental factor) was a standard tool, i.e. WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires.

I belong to West Bengal, a state of India. I obtained my Bachelor degree in Nursing in 2015 and then I worked as both staff nurse and sister tutor. After that, I joined in Master's degree in Nursing (2017-2019) with specialization of orthopedic and rehabilitation nursing. Now, I am working as a deputy nursing superintendent in a reputed hospital.
