About the author










Junfeng Zhao is, Ph.D. in Forensic Linguistics, Professor and Director of Centre for Translation Studies, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS). Professor Zhao is now the Secretary General of China National Committee for Translation and Interpreting Education, Vice President of WITTA, Vice Director of Legal Translation Committee of TAC, Vice Chairman of Translators Association of Guangdong Province, China. From 2014 to 2018, he was the Dean of the School of Interpreting and Translation Studies (SITS), GDUFS. He has published extensively in translation and interpreting studies, especially in legal translation and court interpreting domains.  

Defeng Li is Professor of Translation Studies and Director of Centre for Studies of Translation, Interpreting and Cognition (CSTIC) of the University of Macau. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Chair of the Centre for Translation Studies and Reader in Translation Studies at SOAS Universityof London, Director of MA in Translation and Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dean and Chair Professor at Shandong University, and (visiting) Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is currently the President of World Interpreter and Translator Training Association (WITTA)
Dr. Li has researched and published in Research Methods in Translation Studies, Corpus-Assisted Translation Studies, Translation/Interpreting Process Research, Curriculum Development in Translator Training, Professional Translation (e.g., Business, Journalistic, Legal Translation), as well as Second Language Education.
Lu Tian is a lecturer in translation studies in School of Interpreting and Translation Studies, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She is also an adjunct researcher in Bilingual Cognition and Development Lab, Center for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Her main research interests include cognitive translation studies and translator training.
