About the author

Pete Carter is the author of This is Us, which tells the stories of more than 200 New Zealanders in words and portraits. He has also written two books of poetry, the children’s picture book Our Dog Benji (2017), and had exhibitions of his work as a photographer in New Zealand and overseas.
