The book is a dissertation submitted for the award of Master of Education degree in Adult Education with specialisation in Community Development. The book is on the ever trending phenomenon of poverty that poses threats to so many countries in the socalled developing world. Therefore, it is felt that in addressing the issue of poverty researches need to be conducted in different areas, using different tools and instruments ; and the findings of the researches need to be shared and exchanged among the people in the world. L'auteur est Nura Ibrahim Mukhtar, né le 13 juin 1974 dans l'ancienne ville de Kano au Nigeria. L'auteur est un universitaire et un praticien du développement communautaire qui s'intéresse à l'éducation et au développement communautaire, à l'éradication de la pauvreté, à la culture des jeunes, au développement communautaire et à l'éducation morale. Il est marié et a des enfants.
