Blood is a specialized body fluid that delivers nutrients and oxygen to cells and transports metabolic waste products away from same cells and there is no substitute for it. It can't be mead or manufactured. Generous blood donors are the only source of blood for a patient that needs blood transfusions. The objective of the study was to assess knowledge, attitude, practice and associated factors towards voluntary blood donation among Assosa university graduating class students in 2018. Institutional based cross-sectional quantitative study was used to assess KAP and associated factors towards VBD among Assosa University graduating class students, from April 27 to May 11 2018 GC. From the total study participants, 162(48.5%) had adequate knowledge towards blood donation and 230(68.9%) of the respondent had favorable attitude towards blood donation whereas 104(31.1%) unfavorable attitude. Among the total participant of graduating class students, only around one quarter, 85 (25.4%) have ever donated blood in their life time.
