This book is concerned with establishing the cellulolytic activity of H. nigricans; standardizing their Exo- and endo-cellulase and Glucosidase production abilities over different substrate sources through conventional fermentation methods. The standardization processes also involve optimization of various biophysical factors like Temperature, Spore density of the inoculum, Substrate source etc. The standardization process is further statistically optimized and validated via conventional lab methods. The Cellulases are further proteomically validated via LC-MS/MS analysis for the amino acid composition of enzymes and genomically analyzed by PCR for designing and optimization of recombinant organisms producing the cellulases.
