Vladimír Beneš, MD, PhD


Professor Benes was EANS Vice President 2003-2007, Chairman of the Training Committee 2007-2011 and EANS President 2011-2015. He was President of European Skull Base Surgery Society 2007-2009. Currently he is a member of AANS, CNS, German Academy of Neurosurgery, World Academy of Neurosurgery and takes part in editorial boards of various respected journals such as Pain, Acta Neurochirurgica, World Neurosurgery, etc.
Ond¿ej Bradá¿, MD, MSc, PhD.

Ondrej Bradac has been the Assitant to Professor Benes since 2006 working on topics in cerebrovascular diseases. He spent a study year at Department of Neurosurgery, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, UK. He was an investigator of international studies STICH II and NEWTON. Ondrej Bradac has published 59 papers with 647 citations according to SCOPUS. Together with Vladimir Benes he was editor of Brain AVM book published by Springer in 2017. He is a member of Czech Neurosurgical Society, EANS and AANS.
