The book further discusses some of the rights enjoyed by migrant workers premised on the domestic laws and agreements between the host countries and sending states. This book sheds some light on the protections that are afforded migrant workers under several international instruments and how they could access these protections

About the author

I am a lawyer and an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. I am the fifth child of five children. Growing up, my father was a migrant worker, who on his return home, would tell me and my siblings about his plight and that of the other migrant workers. This greatly influenced writing this book to help out other migrant workers in the same situation.
