Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune and chronic disease that results from inflammatory process from attack of myelin sheet of the central nervous system as foreign body by immune system. Clinical manifestations are varied and unpredictable from person to other. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is focused on stimulation and motivation of person to reach for specific human need. So the findings of the current study based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs could enrich nurses' knowledge about nursing diagnoses which faced patient and family members regarding MS. Nursing diagnoses profile will provide scientific evidences about actual nursing diagnoses, potential nursing diagnoses, possible nursing diagnoses and health promotion nursing diagnoses to promote quality of patients care.

My name is Hadeer Salah Eldin Abd Elsamea Rizk. I'm Assistant lecture in Faculty of Nursing-Cairo University which i was graduated from it in 2012. I was pleasured because i performed this study about Multiple sclerosis under supervision Prof.Dr Hanan Ahmed and Assistant .Prod.Dr.Heba Ahmed in Cairo University.
