What trials did she endure throughout her life? Annie wrote a short thirteen-page biography entitled Over the Falls. In this book, she had a timeline of her many travels, but not many details. Using this book as her foundation and doing a lot of detailed research of the destinations to which she traveled, authorMarcy Bowser has created a fictional account of this fascinating woman. This book provides the compelling story of a daring woman and the historical times in which she lived. But, it's also a love story and a story of a courageous woman who refused to give up no matter what cards she was dealt.

About the author










Author Marcy Bowser is married to Sam Bowser; they have three children who are now out on their own and raising their own families. Writing has always been her passion; she enjoys writing poetry and has had some poetry published. She recently published a The Puppy Chronicles. co-written by her son Richard Bowser and illustrated by his wife Dawn McPeek-Bowser. Marcy and Sam enjoy traveling, and camping in their free time. They live in Newark, Ohio, with their best buddy dogs, Pierre and Little Red. The author resides in Newark, Ohio.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic it is very hard to schedule attendance at these right now. There are two Barnes & Noble book stores in our surrounding area (Newark, Ohio)in which Ms. Bowser will make inquiry as to whether or not she could do a book reading/signing at these stores. Ms. Bowser will also reach out to the Newark Main Library and see if she may do a reading/signing there. Plans for a website for the book are being planned with links to where the book may be purchased. Also plan on advertising on Facebook, and Instagram.

A website for the book “The Dedicated Dancer” with links to where the book may be purchased will be created. along with an Author Video for the web site.

The author is a member of the Ohio Historical Society and will seek to get information to group members. Ms. Bowser will also seek memberships with the Newark Historical Society and also Daughters of the Revolution, as her mother and aunt were members of the DAR.
