The first chapter will give a brief history of Egyptology and will analyse the novella Maqaam Attiya (1986). The second chapter discusses the powerful evil female in ancient Egypt. The third analyses two ancient Egyptian tales namely, The Marvel which happened in the Time of King Nebka and The Tale of the Doomed Prince. The fourth reveals the different spheres of ancient Egyptian women and finally, the fifth analyses the ancient Egyptian tale titled Setne II.
