Tao Wong ist ein kanadischer Autor, der in Toronto lebt und am besten für seine postapokalyptische LitRPG-Serie Die Systemapokalypse und Ein Tausend Li, einer chinesischen Xianxia-Fantasyserie, bekannt ist. Seine Werke wurden in Form von Hörbüchern, Taschenbüchern, gebundenen Büchern und als eBook veröffentlicht und auf Deutsch, Spanisch, Portugiesisch, Russisch und in andere Sprachen übersetzt. Er wurde für den UK Kindle Storyteller Award 2021 für sein Buch Ein Tausend Li: Die zweite Sekte in die engere Auswahl genommen.
