Description

Carli is 3 years old and gets to know many different animals and their stories while visiting an animal sanctuary. 'Carli and the Sanctuary' is a kind of non-fiction book for toddlers, which is supposed to enlighten about the background of the livestock industry and its effects - packed into a positive sanctuary story, and brought to life with loving illustrations. 'Carli and the Sanctuary' is a story about compassion, respect and responsibility. A story about a mindful coexistence between humans and other animals and about sustainability, for children from the age of three. Our children are the future and the hope for this planet and all its inhabitants. We owe it to them to be honest - from the beginning. And this also with regard to supposedly difficult topics. Because of their innocence, but also because of their future. And for their friends, the animals. In addition, with this book as a charity project, 5% of the proceeds will be donated to seven sanctuaries in Germany. Because for each of the animals in this book an animal from a sanctuary existing in Germany was selected as representative.
