She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric sleep medicine with David Gozal at the University of Louisville. From 2005-2020 she was a faculty member at West Virginia University, where she taught an undergraduate sleep course and where she and her team conducted original sleep research.

Summary

Sleep Science is a broad, advanced introduction to the subject of sleep and sleep disorders. Each chapter follows a consistent layout and is authored by a subject matter expert who also teaches undergraduate students in the classroom and/or mentors these students in their sleep laboratory.

Additional text

An eminently readable, fascinating and informative look at the universe of sleep as seen through the eyes of a 'who's who' list of sleep experts, Sleep Science should be on every college student's reading list (and bedside table)."-Judith Owens, MD, MPH, Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School
