About the author

Heather Main is an elementary teacher who grew up in Arviat, Nunavut and has travelled to many Nunavut communities through work in the territory. Her favourite part of teaching is reading aloud to children. She now lives in Toronto with her husband and son.
Jazmine Gubbe is an illustrator from Ontario currently working in the animation industry. When she is not painting she is hiking, exploring nature, and learning the mysterious local history.

Summary

Halloween is almost here! Elijah is excited to go trick-or-treating in his community of Arviat, Nunavut. His anaana even made him a special superhero costume. But just before Halloween, a polar bear is spotted near town. It is not safe to go trick-or-treating. Will Elijah ever get the chance to show off his super costume?
