Increasing burden of non communicable disease and ageing populations raised the global need for palliative care. Palliative care improves the quality of life of patient and family suffering from life limiting conditions. It doesnot require highly specialized person to control basic symptom using holistic approach. Lack of basic understanding about palliative care among nurses hinders the delivery of optimal care. Hence, I was dragged to assess the nurse's knowledge and attitude on palliative care. I am Anju Dhungana, currently graduated nurse of PCL Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing science from Tribhuwan University, Institute of Medicine, Biratnagar Nursing Campus and had 1 yr of work experience at Neurosurgery ward.
