Increasing burden of non communicable disease and ageing populations raised the global need for palliative care. Palliative care improves the quality of life of patient and family suffering from life limiting conditions. It doesnot require highly specialized person to control basic symptom using holistic approach. Lack of basic understanding about palliative care among nurses hinders the delivery of optimal care. Hence, I was dragged to assess the nurse's knowledge and attitude on palliative care. This book presents detailed about the background of palliative care, need, significance and objectives of study, methodologies used in research, related reviewed literature, study findings and conclusion of study.
