The book examines the causes of the communist's success in the state of West Bengal in India. Though the country itself voted various political outfits during the tenure in the nationalistic level, but in the state of West Bengal, only Left Front was in power. It basically studies the factors which dramatically altered the equations against the Left in Bengal.The rich literature in this subject has been elaborated. A detailed primary survey of more than thirty five thousand samples were examined. It also studies the mathematical and statistical formulations regarding the fall of Left. The work tells the story about one of the most important part in India's political history.
