Smile Designing - Harmonising Pink and White Esthetics

An ideal smile in dentistry has often been linked to straight white teeth. Teeth are important but there are far more components working together for an ideal smile. Smile design not only means designing teeth, but also creating a smile that truly complements the patient's face and personality. Therefore, smile designing is an interdisciplinary approach involving restorative, orthodontic, prosthodontic and periodontal approaches. Dr Kavya Sangal Jain is pursuing MDS in Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology from ITS Dental College, Muradnagar.  She likes to venture into new fields in dentistry including smile designing and minimally invasive surgeries.
