"The terrorist attacks of 9/11 seared themselves into America's collective memory. Non-stop images of collapsing towers, airlines flying into buildings, and a low-flying jet plunging into the Pentagon cannot be forgotten. Recordings of phone conversations between doomed passengers on United Fight 93-who knew about the previous attacks-and their loved ones on the ground, play over and over in our ears. About the author
Patricia Walkow is an award-winning author and editor. She is a member of the Corrales Writing Group, SouthWest Writers, New Mexico Press Women, Military Writers Society of America, and The National Federation of Press Women. A former Fortune 200 systems manager, Ms. Walkow is also editor emeritus of Corrales MainStreet News. Her editing has been honored by both New Mexico Press Women and the National Federation of Press Women. Her writing has won awards at the state, national, and international levels for full-length books, short stories, and essays; her work appears in over a dozen anthologies. Ms. Walkow contributes regularly to newspapers, magazines, and anthologies in paper and electronic formats She lives in Corrales, New Mexico with her husband, cats, and one very spoiled dog.
