It was in the middle of the year 2009, and I was just beginning to settle into the new place I'd moved to… Vancouver. I started to look for work, handing out my resume to different stores and job sites, in the hopes that someone would employ me. Although, back home, I was a business owner and I still had that drive to try and work for myself again, and not just somebody else.
