Electronic waste or e-waste refers to any electronic devices that are of no use to the primary consumer anymore, either in a broken or unwanted state. Following the observation of rapid increase in consumption rate of electrical and electronic devices, the study assess e-waste management in Ikeja Local Government area of Lagos. The study analyzes the socioeconomic characteristics of the respondents, Incidence and spatial variation of e-waste, and the method of disposal and management of e-waste. This is with a view to suggesting appropriate strategies on efficient management of e-waste in Ikeja Computer Village.

Ibrahim Balogun was born and raised in Nigeria. He graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (2015). He is currently living in New York, where he's working on a new major in CUNY School (LaGuardia Community College). An athlete who plays soccer with passion and loves traveling.
