The Circus Cannelloni's finances are looking up, for a change. It's time to go on holiday together. This motley crew embarks on a trip to England, where they are joined by the Cannellonis' grandchildren.
The circus crew manages to stir up confusion and fun at a famous horse race, a tennis tournament, and a boarding school run by a tight-lipped headmistress. Mr. Cannelloni gets a chance to lecture at a prestigious university while Madame Cannelloni's determination wins over even the toughest of opponents.
Many things have changed by the time the circus returns home-with a happily engaged couple and a newborn elephant baby.

För en gångs skull ser det finansiella läget för Cirkus Cannelloni bättre ut. Det är dags att planera semester tillsammans. En brokig skara cirkusfolk ger sig iväg till England, där också Cannellonis barnbarn ansluter sig till gruppen.
Cirkusfolket lyckas skapa förvirring vart än det går. En berömd tennisturnering, en känd hästkapplöpning och även den respektabla internatskolan, som leds av den stränga rektorn Highhopes, får sin beskärda del av underhållning. Av misstag blir cirkusdirektör Cannelloni tvungen att hålla ett enastående tal på ett prestigefyllt universitet.
Mycket hinner hända innan cirkusen är hemma igen - med ett nyförlovat par och en nyfödd babyelefant.

Tuula Pere (b. 1958) holds a Ph.D. in Law and is an award-winning children's author from Helsinki, Finland. Her doctoral dissertation, published in 2015, examines the limits of freedom of speech in the Finnish mass media amidst the social and cultural shifts of the 1960s and 1970s. Prior to her doctoral research, Tuula Pere had a career spanning over two decades as a lawyer and held various expert and executive positions in large industrial companies.Since 2010, Tuula Pere has published over sixty children's books, many of which have been translated into multiple languages. She has also authored poetry and aphorisms for children, as well as short stories and non-fiction for adults. Tuula Pere is an avid music and sports enthusiast and a keen baker. She is married and the mother of three.
