Set in Almaden, California in the 1850's, young Jacob Smith is viewed as an outcast by his schoolmates and, following an attack by bullies, his family is forced to make a choice that will change his life forever. As the years pass, and the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Establishment industrializes the town, Jacob feels a strong connection to the land until one day he meets an ancient Native who reveals a mystic secret. An American StorytellerBorn and raised in Willow Glen, CA, Julian P. Flores' art of storytelling began early in life. After focusing his college studies on art, history, philosophy, and design, Julian turned his eye to films, holding a major interest in the thriller and horror genres. Over the years Julian founded the company Silent Eye Productions, as well his independent film called "Hicks Road", which was featured in various film festivals.
