About the author

Faisal Islam is the BBC's Economics Editor. He was formerly Sky News's Political Editor and Channel 4 News's Economics Editor. In March 2017, he won the Royal Television Society award for the Interview of the Year for his interview with then Prime Minister David Cameron.

Summary

Bringing to life the seismic events of the past decade, including the Scottish Referendum, Brexit, the breakdown of government in Northern Ireland, the highs and lows of Corbynism and a number of general elections, Faisal Islam tells the extraordinary inside story of the most tumultuous time in British politics since the Second World War.

Based on original interviews and unrivalled access to many of the key players, Fiasco is part political thriller, part incisive analysis and part campaign diary. Full of previously untold stories, it is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand the mess we're in.

Foreword

A gripping first-hand account of the crisis that has engulfed British politics, by the BBC's Economics Editor.
