About the author

After graduating with an engineering degree and then an MBA from Ohio State, Paul MooreM entered the management development track at Ford Motor Company in Detroit. He later departed to start a staffing company with a partner. Before selling it to a publicly traded firm five years later, Paul was Finalist for Ernst & Young's Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year 2 years straight. Paul later entered the real estate sector, where he flipped over 60 homes and 25 high-end waterfront lots, rehabbed and managed rental properties, built a number of new homes, developed a subdivision, and created two successful online real estate marketing firms. After a careful analysis of historical commercial risks and returns, Paul and his company, Wellings Capital, narrowed their focus to recession-resistant asset classes like multifamily, self-storage, and mobile home parks. Their multi-generational wealth engine has opened the door for passive investors to enjoy the unique safety, tax advantages, and profitability of these commercial asset classes. Paul is also author of the forthcoming The Book on Self Storage by BiggerPockets Publishing as well as Warren Buffett's Rules for Real Estate Investors by Morgan James Publishing. He currently resides in Lynchburg, VA.
