About the author
Mar Pavón has published several children's books as well as poems and stories. She has been published in English, Italian, French, Dutch, Korean and Chinese, while being awarded six prestigious awards at the International Latino Book Awards, IPPY Awards and the Living Now Awards in 2011, 2012 and 2013.Laure du Faÿ studied illustration in the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. She lives in Paris. She is a prolific author of picture books, and has been published in the USA, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and China. She has also published comic books in France and Italy. Her book That's not normal is a White Raven Selection.
Summary
El elefante tiene una trompa muy larga. Desde crear escaleras para ayudar a Monkey a meterse en el árbol, hasta mantener el cuello de Giraffe caliente en los días fríos, la mayoría de sus amigos están muy agradecidos por su ayuda. Spanish version of 'That's Not Normal'. Elephant has a very long trunk. From creating stairs to help Monkey get into the tree, to keeping Giraffe’s neck warm on cold days, most of his friends are very grateful for his help. But Hippopotamus always mocks him saying: “That’s not normal!” But when Hippo needs help saving his baby from the crocodile-infested lake, will he accept the help from Elephant’s abnormally long trunk?
