Informationen zum Autor Jennifer Kaul is the author of the young adult short story "The Price of Words" and the nonfiction book Inside Smartphones. She is currently revising a YA novel, the first of a science fiction/dystopian trilogy that explores the relationship between humans and technology. Many of Jennifer's pieces stem from the happenings in our world and the what-ifs that swirl around her head as a result. Her hope is, through her writing, to encourage thought, spark conversation, and make the world a better place. Jennifer lives in Minnesota with her wonderfully goofy husband and their two kids. In addition to writing, she enjoys reading, playing the clarinet, exploring new places and spending time with family and friends. Visit her at jenniferkaul.com. Klappentext "After the colonies won their independence from Great Britain in the Revolutionary War, a new government was created that could help guarantee that the colonists would enjoy the freedoms they had fought so hard to win. Using an inquiry-based approach, primary sources, and quick-reference infographics, readers will gain a deeper understanding of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and how these historic documents provide U.S. citizens with the freedoms they enjoy today"--
