About the author

John Yeoman (1934–2024) was the author of many humorous stories and poems. His first children's book, illustrated by Quentin Blake, was published in 1960 and they went on to work together on over 30 titles.A children's author and illustrator, most well-known for his illustratrations for books by Roald Dahl.
