Bülent Diken is Reader in Social and Cultural Theory at Lancaster University. His previous publicaions include Strangers, Ambivalence and Social Theory (1998), The Culture of Exception: Sociology Facing the Camp (co-authored with CB Laustsen, 2005), Sociology Through the Projector (co-authored with CB Laustsen, 2007), Nihilism (2009), Revolt, Revolution, Critique: The Paradox of Society (2012) and God, Politics, Economy: Paradoxes of Religion (2015).
